I have been teaching since 2007. Over the years, my teaching has spanned disciplines (Media and Music), levels (first-year to postgraduate), cohorts (over 500 enrolments to eleven) modes of offering (on-campus, online synchronous, blended, and external), and content (theoretical, practical/production, and creative/performance).
Since 2022 I have been Director of Education for the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language, and Literature (MCCALL), one of the largest and most diverse departments at Macquarie University.

Project title: ‘Global Korean Popular Culture’
New Colombo Plan Mobility Program, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2018–19, 2020–2021)
Project details: This NCP Mobility grant enables ten Macquarie students per year to receive funding towards the cost of undertaking the course ‘Global Korean Popular Culture’ at Kyung Hee University, which I teach. As project leader for this grant, my role includes student recruitment, associated administration, and teaching responsibilities towards this program.
